Instructor

The Department of Biology at the University of Northern Iowa announces two Instructor positions beginning August 2008. Both positions are four-year term appointments.

  1. Position responsibilities include teaching Anatomy and Physiology I and II lectures and laboratories including computer-based labs, as well as other general biology courses as required. Experience teaching nursing, athlectic training and pre-professional biology students preferred. Practical employment experience in related areas is desirable.
  2. Position reponsibilities include teaching general education lectures and laboratories as well as other general biology courses as needed. Applicants with graduate training in genetics or cell biology are preferred.

Master's degree in areas related to teaching assignment required and at least three years of experience in teaching college-level courses and coordinating and supervising multiple laboratory sections is required.
