Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at St John's Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls, IA from February through November. There are no meetings in December and January. During the summer months, meetings may be held at member homes so that their ponds can be viewed and discussed.

Yearly Planning Meeting
The year's activities are planned in February of every year. At this meeting, Pond Tour dates are decided, officers are elected and discussions are held on how to spend club funds. Speakers are suggested and members have the opportunity to sign up to be a pond host, presenter or both.

How Meetings are Conducted
Meetings follow a specific business agenda in order to keep the meeting flowing and on track. Meetings contain the following:
A call to order
Approval of the minutes from the previous meeting
Financial report
Old business
New business
Introduction of guests
Program for the evening
Question and answer period
Adjournment
New business must be brought to the attention of the President for inclusion in the agenda prior to the meeting.

Election of Officers
Officers will be elected at the Yearly Planning Meeting in February. A president, vice president/program director, and secretary/newsletter editor will be elected. Ron Camarata will hold a permanent position on the board as a voting University Liaison.
